More than a brand
We are a family at BrokerTeam Group that support each other and share our experiences. In addition to our annual forums, BrokerTeam University and holiday parties, we have recently launched the BrokerTeam Excellency Fund to highlight distinction within our network. Designed out of a desire to support our colleagues and their families in pursuit of their passions, the Excellency Fund will contribute towards their expenses while competing/showcasing internationally in academic, creative, or athletic event.
KEY MILESTONES
In just 2 years since its inception, Brokerunion has won the IBAO Brokerage of the Year – Under 25 Brokers award. BrokerTeam Insurance expands the brand into Alberta with the opening of their first office in the Sherwood Park neighbourhood of Edmonton, Alberta. Originating as the Client Service Centre of sister brokerage, BrokerTeam Insurance, CSC Insurance launches as an independent brokerage within the BrokerTeam Group family. Brokerzone Insurance opens in Mississauga with an experienced team to find solutions to your unique insurance needs. BrokerUnion Insurance launches in Pickering with a commitment to serve their clients in a timely, affordable, and professional manner. Bespoke Insurance opens in North York to provide affordable coverage tailored to your individual and business needs. Eon Insurance launches with a brand new team of seasoned brokers. BTID and Idea Insurance join together to create Begin Insurance. BrokerTeam Group welcomes its first technology partner, BT Summation, with a focus on developing insurtech and fintech solutions for small and medium sized enterprises. BrokerTeam Insurance wins IBAO Brokerage of the Year! BrokerTeam Group expands our network to Alberta with Inspire Insurance, a team of young and dynamic insurance professionals. ETC Insurance launches in Markham with long-time friends with extensive experience in the industry. Idea Insurance launches in Hamilton and combines the best aspects of a traditional brokerage with the speed, convenience and choice of an online platform. Chat Insurance opens to serve the quickly expanding Chinese market. BTI Direct is created as BrokerTeam Group’s first digital brokerage. BrokerTeam Group expands outside of Ontario for the first time with Admiral Insurance Services based out of Vancouver. PrimeService opens to serve the Farsi-speaking community in the GTA. BrokerTeam Group’s first affiliate, CoreService is created to serve the Korean community. Our 5 founding partners come together to form BrokerTeam Insurance.
