We are welcoming two new brokerages to the BrokerTeam Group family this year. Launching in Pickering and Mississauga respectively, BrokerUnion and Brokerzone will have BrokerTeam Group’s CEO, Royle Leung, serving as principal broker until Muqit Aziz (BrokerUnion) and Vladimir Latinovic (Brokerzone) obtain their RIBO Level 2 licenses.

Previously operating as a Desjardins Financial Security office, BrokerUnion Insurance will be converted into a brokerage, with its grand opening in September 2020. This will mark BrokerTeam Group’s first brokerage to be transitioned from an agency.

Based in Mississauga, Brokerzone Insurance brings together an experienced group of insurance professionals under a new banner. Brokerzone is a welcome addition to BrokerTeam Group and will strengthen our geographic footprint in the west end of the GTA.

BrokerUnion and Brokerzone will offer property and casualty insurance as well as life insurance in Ontario, while BrokerUnion has plans to expand its operations into other provinces. We are thrilled to have Muqit and Vlad come on board with their teams to bring new perspectives and experiences to share with all of us.
