Our 4th annual BrokerTeam Group Forum kicked off last week in sunny Muskoka! This year, CHAT Insurance hosted and did a wonderful job of organizing multiple activities and setting up an engaging agenda of sessions for sharing and learning. 

This year we started off the Forum with a day of unwinding before getting down to business. Half the group got in a round of golf at the Muskoka Bay Club while the other half enjoyed an afternoon tea aboard the oldest operating steamship in North America. The group then reconvened for a delightful dinner at the Muskoka Bay Resort. 

Day 2 of our Forum started with discussion and sharing on topics affecting the insurance brokerage industry, as well as financial review of the group and strategies for talent retention. A team from BMO Private Wealth then came up to Muskoka to give a presentation on wealth planning and economic updates. It was a rewarding day of hearing different perspectives and learning from our brokerage directors.
