This year’s IBAO Convention in Toronto, Ontario gave our Ontario brokerages a chance to get together again and cheer each other on! From speakers, to finalists, to exhibitors, BrokerTeam Group was hard to miss this year!
Congratulations to Muqit Aziz and the Brokerunion Insurance team for winning Brokerage of the Year – Under 25 Brokers at this year’s convention! Transitioning just 2 years ago from an agency model, Brokerunion has grown to 3 offices and a diverse team of dedicated brokers and staff that serve their community in over 18 languages. We’re so proud to have Brokerunion as a part of the BrokerTeam Group family.
Primeservice Insurance‘s Sam Jazayeri was also at the Convention as one of the featured speakers. He gave a talk to a packed ballroom on broker tech adoption. Sam demystified tech options for brokerages looking to grow and shared insights from PrimeService’s own journey.
Many other members of the BrokerTeam Group family were also exhibitors as a part of their involvement in the Canadian Chinese Insurance Professionals Association (CCIPA). Bespoke Insurance‘s Robert Mills was also a finalist for the IBAO Awards of Excellence 2022 in the Diversity Leader category because of his involvement and dedication to his community! What a meaningful nomination – Great job Robert!
